Hallo
I'm transcribing the birth/baptism records of a certain church. In the
Pathen list, the pastor entered some identifying words beyond just the
names, for example, Elternm Mutter, Grossmutter. One word that may be a name
or an identifier, occurs but once; it is Ef--gattin, if I read it correctly
and precedes the name Maria Meyer. I seek suggestions as to what the word
might be.
