German Translation

Fellow listers,
I have been researching my ancestors in the Westfallen area of Hamm
and have trouble reading the headings of documents, such as
Confirmation. I have tried to translate letters from the Family
History Center's Letter Guide in German. Is there other samples of
the documents in English. I can generally tell who was confirmed,
their father and mother but other columns that have a lot of
information I cannot understand. I would appreciate any help. I
would give more details to anyone interested in helping.

Regards

Hello Herb,
I am not sure if you have to become a member of www.genealogienetz.de , but
we have a translation team working there (including myself) and most of the
translations are done free of charge). Try it.

No, you don't have to be a member of anything.
