which
city is your Altstadt attached? Brandenburg? Magdeburg?

Hello Gerd,
that is my problem. I have a picture of great grand parents with some
writing on the back. We are not sure if Altstadt or Alerstadt, the picture
is very old. I my great grandfather and his family came Saxony in 1871.
They ended up in McKeesport, Pa., I keep looking and reading the letters
that everyone sends in hoping to see someone searching for the same family
as I. I may get lucky, who knows. The names that I am looking for are
Gottholdt August Donat and Rosine Frederika Brickner. They were not married
when they but their names are listed next to each other on the ships list.
Any help is always appreciated.
