GenWiki in Norwegian

Hello Kenneth,

it is very easy to create a norwegian version of GenWiki - it can be prepared for you just like the English version on http://wiki-en.genealogy.net . Like the Dutch version (this is on the very beginning) it is not very complete but it will grow when you find more and more coworkers. Everybody can edit the pages!

It is much easier to manage such a version like http://wiki-no.genealogy.net on our server instead of installing and managing the Mediawiki Software on your own server. Just create your design for a starting page like GenWiki - das Genealogie-Wiki and prepare a translation of the help pages first. There is a special mailing list for authors and GenWiki-admins http://list.genealogy.net/mailman/listinfo/genwiki-L.

BTW - there is a French version at http://wiki.geneanet.org/index.php/Accueil. It is quite similar to our German version.

If you would like to experiment with a Norwegian version of the GenWiki (with
the URL G�nter suggested) I could set up an empty translated GenWiki. It will
not take more than a couple of minutes to copy the necessary files and adjust
the language and database settings.
