Genealogy

For those of you who aren't familiar with Fred, he started up this list a number of years ago, and has been one of its chief contributors ever since. His "helpfulness" should be beyond question to anyone who's been subscribed to the HN-L for any length of time.
Of course one has to first learn how to ASK for as much, like a baby who learns to crawl before it can walk. Or like most of us have done, sit back and get a feel for things for a while before jumping in and trying one's hand. But naturally that requires a bit of patience and observation.
As I see it, Betty spoke her mind - and so did Fred. Power to both of them. I just happen to share Fred's sentiments. If that happens to be her way of 'eliciting' help, let her keep looking. As for 'tolerance', even it has its limits.
