Dear Sir,
I joined your genealogy site, but have straight away received mail , written in German, which has no bearing on my search for the Burmeister/Pepper line. Several letters are lists from other people searching for their ancestors.
Because of this confusion, please UNSUBSCRIBE me from your list.

It boggles the mind. She joined. Didn't find her whole genealogy
reported in the language of her choice and now would like someone
else to unjoin her. Clicking the link at the bottom of each message is
probably too much work.
The a German genealogy list might also have German posts in it
must really be the origin of the confusion. Here so many of us think
it's wonderful that so many people from Germany bother to read all
this English stuff and still write as they know how and we get these
kinds of letters. It's really sad.

Fred,
It must be that time of year. On Tuesday night someone came into the
local FHC, handed the Volunteer who works there a number and asked her to
download his family tree. When she asked where he got the number and what
did it mean, he got really nasty and told her she was not doing her job and
she better get that family tree downloaded or else. In her nicest manner,
she tried to explain to him that there are probably millions of numbers in
the FHC files and where did he get his and the idea that she could download
a whole family tree that easily. Well, with a lot of shouting from him, he
stormed out of the room and building. Those of us who have been hunting
for years are not very sympathetic to those who want instant answers.
Wouldn't we all like to download a number and get an entire family tree.
I liked your comments.
