My name is Ginny Miller and I am in Summerfield Florida. I am married and have 3 children and 7 grands.
My ancestors came to USA in 1800's from Germany on my and my husbands side. I am researching this info to pass on to my grandchildren when they are a bit older.
These are the people I am researching.
-Carl August Weber born 1856 in Saxony Germany,Lutheran,father Frederick Weber,mother Johanna Eichler,came to USA around 1870-1878
-Margaret Buettner Biittner born 1858 in Prussia,Roman Catholic,has brothers Peter, George, Michael, John, and
sisters Bertha,Francis.came to USA around 1870-1878
-William August Boyer,born 1874-1876 in Geilenkirchen Germany,was an only child, Lutheran,came to USA when
about 12 years old in 1886-1888
-Herman & Elizabeth Eckenstien,came to USA NY on April 20,1886 from Dortmund,had 12 children all born in Germany,Lutheran
-Daughter of Herman & Elizabeth Eckenstien
Elizabeth Eckenstien, born April 26,1876 in Dortmund Germany, Lutheran,came to USA with parents 1886 when she was 10.

for William August Boyer,born 1874-1876 in Geilenkirchen Germany,was an only child, Lutheran,
came to USA when about 12 years old in 1886-1888.
Up to now I did not receive an answer from the Westfalen-list, sorry.
Up to mid 1874 you will find informations about birth/baptism, marriage, death in the church records.
After 1874 all such informations registered in the registry office of Geilenkichen.
