Most of the time early Naturalization papers only say that the person renounces the King of Germany or something like that. I found a couple of those for my family and none has ever given a city name. In her case her ancestor was born after 1819 census and arrived before the 1867 census. So it will be tougher. She has a unique surname though which helps.
I did not make myself clear. The naturalization papers give the Date and place of entry into the USA. That allows you to follow the paper trail back to the place the people embarked from in Europe. There you can usually check the town. From there you can hopefully find some records.

I have searcht a long time for the emigration of my ancestores, tey were borne in Pensylvania abaout 1880. There name was Bendixen but in the records i found the name with c instead with x. Check this things.
