On one hand I have found good data in the book, Gatzemeyer, Dr. Friedrich.
Ahnentafeln um 1800, Sippschaften aus Stadt und Stift Hildesheim. I do not
know when the several volumes were published; on Band 1 one sees "Verlag
Degener & Co., Leipzig, 1935". The entire book, vols. 1-5 as I recall, is
available as LDS microfilm 1181586.
On the other hand, what is the opinion of knowledgeable researchers of this
book?

I was wondering if anyone knows if there are any records available from St
Blasius Church, in Hann Muenden, before 1850 ? I have tried searching the
LDS site without any luck. Any advice will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
in advance.

Dear Star,
The LDS only have 25% of all Catholic and 45% of all Lutheran church records of
Lower Saxony on microfilm.
