I'm researching the name GADRELL/GARDRELL. It is the name of my Great Grandfather George GADRELL who was born in about 1824 somewhere around Dieburg Darmstadt, Germany.He could possible be born in Bingen or Alzey.
George came to America in 1846 with his siblings. Julianna, Catherine, Elizabeth and Theodore. Possible another relative came over with them, by the name of John.

GADRELL is a very unusual name - I have never seen it with any other family except my family.

I'm not sure if is a German name. I do know they were born in Germany----

I found a family in The Ladder Day Saints web site that I believe are part of my family.

Any help in find this or any names associated (Hepp- Mayer-Bieber) with the GADRELL would be greatly appreciated.

Had some time, checked the German telephone book for you.
Found one man Cadrell this being his christian name though.
