Free Lookup - 1852 Hannover Census (May 21/22)

Mr. Jens Mueller-Koppe

I would like to take advantage of your kind offer of a Hannover census
lookup. I am looking for a town for my g-grandfather. To date I have not
been able to find anything more than Hannover.

His name and vital statistics are:

Heinrich Albert Ahlenstorf ( or Albert Heinrich) - have seen both
born: 20 March 1835 - Hannover
occupation: Shoemaker
emigrated to USA between 1850 and 1857
may have a brother or cousin named John, born 1825 in Hannover, farmer,
married to Rabecca (Rebecca, sometimes)

Spelling variations of Ahlenstorf: Ahlensdorf, Ohlenstorf, Ohlensdorf,
Ahlendorf, Ohlendorf

He married here in 1869 to Emma Asche (her father, Heinrich Asche, and
grandfather, Wilhelm Asche, were from Engehausen and Stoeckendrebber). A
number of the families from that area seem to have settled near each other
here in the US. Heinrich Asche was also a shoemaker.

Thank you in advance for any information you might be able to find,
Anne

Dear Jens Mueller-Koppe,
I most courtesly request a look-up in the 1852 Hannover Census.

My ancestor Margarette Sophia (nee UHLAND) KIEL b.March 1775 lived in
Neuenkirchen bei Melle at this time 1852, her occupation was a midwife. Her
husband died in 1818, & Margarette died April 1853 in Neuenkirchen bei
Melle. There may be other KIEL's living in Neuenkirchen bei Melle 1852.
All I know is one son came to America 1845. There may be sons Carl
Diederich b. 1803, & Franz Wilelm b. 1810 still in Neuenkirchen bei Melle
1852.

Thank you very much for providing this wonderful service. Sincerly
Geraldine Miller, Missouri USA
