ancestry.com is offering FREE access to its 400 yr span of US military
records from today
(25 May) until 06 June (D Day).
I have tried the web site and find no reference to this. What links
should I be checking?

You may have to create an account if you have not already. I have an
account for free items so when I click the URL it automatically logs me in
and takes me directly to this part of Ancestry. You do not have to purchase
anything to create an account and there are many items free at Ancestry. As
I mentioned when you have an account it will automatically log you in when
you click on the ancestry.com URL
