Ken, there is no such thing as a list that knows what language the
reader speaks. The list has been bilingual from its start in 1997 and
still is.

I think that Ken does not understand the instructions re the basics of the list since they are presented in German. Are there instructions in English?

List welcome messages etc are all bilingual. There really isn't much
to describing how a list functions. 'send' and 'reply' are functions
of the OS.
