I used it once some time ago. It shows who deserted and stayed in America and
who died there, as I recall.

Oh yes, but again these are American archival records. Trouble
also is they preceed my guy by a few years. He was in the service
from ? but had to get married, for familiar reasons in 1798, after the
unit had been taken over by the Prussians. There is quite a bit of
literature available about the troops in the American war but once
they get to be over in Europe, forget it.
