Lieber Freunde,

Es tut mir Leid, mein Deutsch ist schlecht:-(

Mein Frau’s Gr-Großvater war aus “Stoltzenberg”. Dies Stadt ist am US 1920
Census. Sein Cousin war aus “Forst Lanseka” nach Ellis Island und sein die
Einbürgerungsurkunde sagt “Forst”. Kennen jemand ein Stadt heißt “Forst
Lanseka”?

Very probably this is the city Forst in Lausitz district. The Lausitz
(Lusatia) is spread over Saxony, Silesia, and Brandenburg. The city of
Forst (and the county) belongs to Niederlausitz (Lower Lusatia), since 1816
part of Brandenburg. Also in Brandenburg is Stolzenberg (without t) in
county Landsberg/W., but there are others.

So you may want to turn to the Brandenburg list:
