FN Schurdel / Schordel at Gut Guhren bei Schlobitten, OP

Thank Hallo all,

I am searching for information about the Schurdel / Schordel family that lived at Guhren. Family stories say the family came from France at the time of the French Revolution, and rented the Gut from Count zu Dohna. Supposedly the head of the family was Count de la Chorle, but I haven't been able to find that name in any records.

Some Schurdels later lived at Podangen where Martin Schurdel, *1816 + 1874, was cantor and teacher of the von Kanitz children there.

My husband's great-grandfather Gustav, *1840 +1903, wrote some family memoirs, but he didn't write much information about other than his direct line. This Gustav married Amalia Radtke, whose family appears in the Deutschesgeschlechter Buch, Vol 116.

The family memoirs, translated, are here: Schurdel Chronicle in case anyone is interested in reading them.

Thank you for any help you can give me.
