Thank you for clarifying and sending the information you have. I will have
to see if I have any of those names in my tree, I believe a Frese sister
stayed behind when the 7 brothers came to America to enter the ministry.
My line begins here, I will work backward from America to Germany. I have a
feeling they are connected somehow.
So my father was ~ Edward William Frese ~ 12 December 1931- 17 October 2007
born in Omaha, Nebraska USA ; his father was Paul Wilhelm Frese adopted into
the Frese family ( but the story is strange, we believe his father was an
actual Frese ) anyhow, he was born 7 December 1897 - 22 July 1985 - Omaha,
Nebraska USA ; Reverend Emil Julius Frese 3 December 1844 - 10 August 1925
- Sievern, Cuxhaven, Lower Saxony Germany ( we believe this is correct ) ;
Emil's parents were Hinrich Frese ~ 8 April 1803 - 13 April 1862 ( I have
him listed as being born in Sievern, Debstedt, Berderkesa office Lower
Saxony Germany and dying in Sievern, Amt Lehe, Lower Saxony Germany );
mother was Henrietta Friederike Schmersahl ~ 5 November 1805 - Sievern,
Berderkesa, Niedersachen, Germany and dying 13 February 1882 in Omaha,
Nebraska USA.
