I have also?seen numerous FLERLAGE families which lived in the
parish of Loeningen which is the neighboring parish to Lastrup.

Your "Longenger" may?actually be?Loeningen.? Fortunately,
the LDS church has microfilmed those records although they
are mislabeled, i.e. the records of St. Vitus (the old church)
are labeled as St. Michael's or they used to be.? (LDS Film Nrs:
920180 - 920183)? Perhaps?your PRIESTHOFF family can
be found in those records.

Thanks for the information. My German cousin had also suggested that
Longenger might be Loeningen. I'm am hoping to learn more about the
FLERLAGE line from her family's records. Thank you for the film
numbers. I'll need to hit the local Family History Center.
