Does anyone know how to get a couple of church records from the Ev.
Lutheran church in Mandelsloh. Parish Registers of the
"Ev-luth.Landeskirche Hannover" Church district Neustadt am Rubenberge. The
Pastor there has an e-mail address but he never even acknowledges my
question of how I can get the baptism and marriage records of my Gr. Gr.
Grandmother who we know was baptized there. Can any one help me.

You can write to the Kirchenbuchamt in Hannover,
kirchenbuch.staki.hannover@evlka.de
(I guess people there will speak English.)
However, you have to pay for the search (don't know how much).

That's not nice, but not so unusual... He would tell you that this is not his
duty.
