Feudalism: Landlord/Grundherren - Tenant/Hoerige Bauern

Hello Guenter and List,

For a book that looks at the local peculiarities of feudalism and the
relationship
between landlords and tenants in the specific context of Schlesien, I would
humbly
suggest you get a copy of Richard C. Hoffmann's recent book, "Land,
Liberties, and
Lordship in a Late Medieval Countryside: Agrarian Structures and Change in
the
Duchy of Wroclaw." It is not an easy read, but it is stuffed full of
interesting
information about the region around Breslau from circa 1000 to circa
1500.

With friendly greetings,
Paul
