I don't know Danish or German and saw this message about Ribe Denmark where my grandfather was born. I cannot find any information about him or his family. His naturalization papers state that he was born in Ribe Denmark August 9, 1874. He came to the US April 1887 and landed in New York New York. He eventually joined the rest of his family in Fresno California and married my grandmother had to sons and died in March 1946. His name is OTTO Larsen Kromann, his father was Jens Kromann, sisters Maren Jensen Kromann, Kristine Kromann and Gerbine (not sure of her spelling) Kromann. The all immigrated to the US from 1880 to 1887 and lived and died in Fresno, CA. Can anyone help me find records or information about their life, birth, mother's name and so on in Denmark. Jens Kromann was born in Prussia in 1835 according to his death certificate. He died in California 1906. Any information is appreciated. I have been searching for 5 years with little results.
