To highlight a query I made about my Borns family group with respect to the
village of Sandbeindorf, the family of Carl Friedrich Matthias Borns and
Anna Dorothea Elisabeth (nee Meseberg) emigrated from Colbitz, Province
Sachsen in 1871. I received a great deal of information from a researcher
(I believe from Magdeburg) including copies of church records of marriages,
births, etc, that I believe came from Colbitz church records. There was a
mention that Carl was born in Sandbeindorf, which is near Colbitz. I am
looking to find any information that might be available other than that I
have relating to Colbitz.
