My name is Paul Schilling and I recently joined ow-preussen. I am not altogether certain how the system works; however, it is wonderful to receive mail on my first day as a member. Thank you.
I have some family that I believe originated in Memel, of what was then Prussia. However, I have come to realize that Memel is indeed the same place as Klaipeda, Lithuania. Please understand that some of the information here has been collected in it's original state and therefore is quite difficult to read.
One particular individual I am trying to locate is: Heinrich Bernhard Ferdinand Schilling. Records indicate that he died on 22.07.1885. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
