darf ich hier einen Brief einstellen, den ich vor einigen Tagen erhalten habe.
Wieso ausgerechnet ich der "Glückliche" bin, der ihn erhalten hat weiß ich auch noch nicht.
Zu Regina Matzhauser habe ich einiges im IGI gefunden (* 9.Mai 1840 in Kirchhundem; oo Wilh. Schauerte dort am 9. Aug. 1860. Weiter habe ich dort ihre Eltern und einige Schwestern gefunden. Ich habe diese Daten bereite
weitergegeben und dabei bemerkt, daß ich die Anfrage in die Liste einstellen werde.
Gibt es Jemanden, der hier mit den Schauertes helfen könnte? Es wimmelt ja nur so von diesem Namen im Sauerland.
Ich selbst suche in der Ahnenliste meiner Frau noch Daten zu Maria Elisabeth Schauerte aus Fredeburg,* um 1780, + ebd. 9.12.1852, oo um 1805 Joh. Heinrich Hennemann gt. Schulmeisters. -Deren Eltern: Röttger Schauerte * um 1745 in Fredeburg, + ebd 28.4.1819, oo Maria Catharina Vogt. gt. Mertens, * um 1747 Fredeburg, + ebd. 14.4.1833. Sollten auch für mich neue Erkenntnisse anfallen, wäre ich sehr dankbar.

Religion: Roman Catholic, Studied: tailoring in Germany
Please note: He had a brother named: Kaspar Schauerte
dob: 7.March. 1862 (pob) Place of birth: Marmecke Westphalia
Name of parents: WIlliam and Regina (Matzhauser) Schauerte
Studied to be a teacher at "teacher's seminary" at Bueren, Westphalia and taught for one year at Huelschotten, Westphalia. Arrived in America in 1880 and studied for the priesthood.
There were five (5) other siblings in this famlly. Please find the names, (dob, P, M, and D name of spouse, and of the 5 other siblings, (i.e. brothers and sisters) of that generation only.
Please search for the parents of William Schauerte giving tbe names, dob, M, D and cause of death if recorded, occupation of William, and his father; list the name of the mother, date of birth, death - giving only the name of the mother's parents & occupation. Research the same way for Regina Matzhauser.
Then continue tracing the great-grandfather's parents in the same fashion, until the first recorded Schauerte and Matzhauser ancestor is found.
For the purpose of this genealogy search, please do not record the siblings of the subject in each generation beyond William Schauerte and Regina Matzhauser.
