Familie BAUM aus Reichwald Kreis Wohlau

Hallo Petra,

Anita (Rogge geb. Baum aus Espelkamp/Norddeutschland)

Dear List,

I have a series of documents from around 1800 from the Schomberg, Kreis
Landeshut Kirchenbuch Taufen. I needed help with some translations. I
have all of the documents scanned in to my computer. There are all 1000K
in size and in bitmap format (.JPEG appears to be bigger.

IS there anyone who wants to try some translations?

Kind regards, Christopher P. Grallert

IS there anyone who wants to try some translations?

Christopher,

I should be able to translate some documents from German to English however
without knowing the specialist terms for genealogy. Let's try one document
and we will see.

Gabriele

Hallo Gabriele.
I am willing to translate from German into English.
I live in Kennewick, Washington
I speak, write and read both.
Scan and send me the document, or Fax it.

Dear List:

I wonder if anyone might be able to help me to understand history a
bit here. My ancestors came from the villages named above in an area
in the south western part of Kreis Landeshut. The are all villages
outside of Schömberg. The earliest GRALLERT birth I find is for 1611.
They were there until WWII.

Can anyone tell me where I can learn more about the history of these
villages? Also, how and when were they settled? From where did the
inhabitants come from and why did they leave?

Does anyone on the list have ancestors from any of these areas?

Kind regards, Christopher Grallert

GRALLERT and STRIERAND in Landeshut

Hi Christopher,
in the internet I have found this address Gerhard@heering.de
Gerhard also looks for GRALLERT in the mentioned places. Your
Leutmannsdorf writes itself with H, Leuthmannsdorf. Unfortunately, I
don't have any details on this.

Kind regardst
