I am looking for the ancestors of Frederick (or Fredrich) Fahrig born 1847
who came to Canada in 1882 with his wife Wilhelmina Schmidt (b. 1845) and
their three daughters Louisa, Bertha and Alice. They departed Hamburg on 28
July 1882, with an interim destination of Liverpool, England, and a final
destination of Quebec, Canada. The departure record indicates the family's
last place of residence as having been the town of Burgörner. He had a
sister, Maria or Mary Fahrig who was married to Reinhold Andreas Heinrich
(Henry) Reiche. I would like to correspond with any of this Fahrig family
that stayed in Germany.
