Hello,
I am searching for information on the Amberg Family. Ernst (born 1815) and Barbara (born 1816) Amberg had five children emigrate with them sometime between 1852 and 1855. The children's names were Mary born 1841, Emma born 1842, Ernst (or Andreas) born 1844, Fern (or Josephine) born 1846, and Anna born 1848. The family may have lived in Ohio first and then were living in Dubuque Iowa in 1860. The 1860 Federal Census shows the family born in Saxony and the 1870 shows Saxe Coburg. Any information about this family would be greatly appreciated.
