this database is by no means a final product and we welcome all information
you have about additional emigrants.
We are currently working on including 2 major addlitions:
-emigrants -as noted at the Oldenburg State Archive- having left Oldenburg
between 1833 and 1865
-the database of 'Routes to the Roots', which contains mainly people leaving
southern Oldenburg (Cloppenburg, Vechta, Damme).
All this takes time. Dont expect the next update before the second half of
this year.

Apparently one can add ones own immigrant ancestors to this data base.
I just heard from Gerold: "Ergänzungen sollten am besten direkt an
Dierk Feye geschickt werden (DierkFeye@web.de)" meaning that additions
or corrections should be sent to Dierk at the above address. Sadly
he's not a member of this list and can not supply directions or make
requests. It's a strange way to build a database.
I'll submit some of my emigrant ancestors shortly and we'll see what
happens. I'll report back.
