Eisenhut, Arnold/Arneth

Does anyone have information about Johann Eisenhut, born 18 July 1811 in
Obernsees, Bav.? He emigrated to Dubois County, Indiana, USA before Dec 15, 1841
for on this day he married Barbara Arneth/Arnold. He died 18 February 1882 in
Dubois County. Barbara was the illegitimate daughter of Ursalla Arneth, born
8 July 1791 in Trubbach, Bav.
  
Ursella Arneth married Johann Arnold, born 20 Oct 1795, of Busbach, Bav.
Johann Arnold died 9 Oct 1847 in Dubois County, Indiana, USA. They had at least
three other children: twins-Adam and Margaretha, born 6 January 1823; and,
Johann, born 3 March 1833.

I would appreciate any information about Johann Eisenhut, Johann Arnold,
Ursella Arneth or her daughter, Barbara Arneth/Arnold. They were Lutheran. Could
Barbara have been Johann's natural daughter but under the laws Johann Arnold
and Barbara Arneth were not allowed to marry?

Regarding the Eisenhut family, the best source of information I could offer
would be the Dubois Co. Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 84, Ferdinand,
Indiana 47532-0084.

I have an Eisenhut line which settled in Spencer Co. Indiana in the Fulda
area. But I have found no link to the Eisenhut line in Dubois County. My
line was posted on this site on 22 June and I have received no information
about them. My line is from the B�chenbach and Troschenreuth area (near
Pegnitz).You might try the Staatsarchiv Bamberg, Hainstra�e 39, 96047
Bamberg, Germany. They had no emigration information on my Eisenhut and
Schatz lines, but may have for your line.
