Hier in den Staaten koennen wir alle Filme bekommen. Ich habe deshalb die Frage an einen Bekannten der fuer den FHC by LDS arbeitet weitergeleitet. Erstens habe ich die "details" der Filme fuer Muenster ausgesucht:

Hier ist die Antwort vom FHC der LDS auf meine Frage:
Indeed the films you referenced are restricted from being delivered to virtually all of greater Europe, including England, etc. We are not entering into any of these kind arrangements anymore, however, this particular collection of films an agreement was made with the supplier of the information that we would not allow shipment as described. The reason is they have an arrangement to sell this information to this area themselves and they do not want us in a way to avoid paying them for the information to those in their market area.

Apparently this J.H.M. Putman transcribed these church records (similar to the Schubert books in Mecklenburg) and then entered into an agreement with the LDS. This agreement provided that the LDS would not compete with Putman in Europe. I did a cursory check on amazon.com and found at least one book of transcriptions by Putman (although I can't be sure because it was in Dutch). So it is not a case of "Datenschutz", just a case of non-competition in business.
