Have been following the correspondence on the Ehlers family. I am a
descendant of the Ehlers of Hullstede bei Westerstede. The names of
Friedrich, Anna and Gerhard are a few of the names often found, however, I
was unable to match your ancestors with anything in my data base. And, your
family could be a branch unknown to me.
What is the date of birth of your gggrandfather? As to the "Ofchen" surname,
I have similar names, i.e. Oeltjen, Octlsen, Ochsner and Oetken.
