EGGERS & HUENE, Bockenem, Hannover

Hallo, all,

I seek contemporary cousins.

The following were Evangelical Lutheran natives of Bockenem, except as
noted.

Johann Christian EGGERS married (20 Jul 1826) Johanne Sophie Catherine HUENE
(nativity and religion unknown).
Their children were:
Johanne Fredericke Christine b. 13 Apr 1827
Johanne Maria Luise b. 16 Apr 1828
Carl Heinrich Wilhelm b. 01 Feb 1831
Wilhelmine 'Mina' b. 25 Mar 1833, was my great-grandma. In St. Louis in
1858, she married a native of Berlin.

Bob Doerr in the beautiful Missouri Ozarks

Bob;
There were several EGGERS who settled in Carver County Minnesota in the
1860's including Friedrich and Sophie Eggers.. They were active in the
establishment of one of the first Missouri Lutheran Churches in Minnesota.
The Eggers lived on the farm in Carver County next to my great grandparents
Ernst Heinrich Bscher and his wife Marie Eleonore Huge. My ggparents
emigrated from Hustatte, Kreis Wittlage, Hanover Sept 1864 --> Bremen-->New
York--> Cleveland. They stayed in Cleveland from 1864 - 68. The were also
Eggers in Cleveland at that time. You may wish to check something like
Switchboard.com and see if any Eggers still live in Carver County Minnesota.

Good luck,
Lee

Hi Bob,
looking at the telephone book of Bockenem, there are still Eggers named, as
the name is not rare in the region. Huene is still known in Germany but not
exactly in the region.
Same in Harsum: Blume, Miehe, Heumann etc.
How would you like to go about it?
Contact living families by phone, write ???

If I can be of more help, let me know.
