Ebstorf Family Book

Hi,
I recently received the Ebstorf Family Book, extracts from Ebstorf church records, edited by Heinrich Porth and Dieter Boe.

I am willing to do look-ups. Please send your requests with just one surname at a time. I also would need first names with dates in order to identify the person/line you are requesting.

Please be aware that I while I am excited about being able to help you, I may not be able to reply to you immediately.

Mona,
My Ebstorf and Altenebstorf lines include WOLLE, RIECKMANN, STEHR, BUNGE, SCHROEDER, GROBE, etc.

Mona,

I hope you are having fun going through this book. It really has helped some of the people around this area.
How are you taking the hot weather?

Thanks, Donna,
I'm doing OK on my lines. So far, I haven't tried to do any others. It's great having it all here! They must have had an amazing computer program to connect and organize all this material. I recall Dieter Boe telling me about it, though I don't remember the exact name of it.

It's too hot. Period. It's humid here near St. Louis, too. We had a little rain that didn't cool the temps at all.

But, with a big cold drink, my Ebstorf book and my Brother's Keeper, I'm doing fine.

Hope you're doing OK.

Would you have a George F.Schroeder in your line...his wife was Hamke Bush
Schroeder b. Hanover.

I don't have dates of birth for them…but, they had a daughter Margaretha
Schroeder b. July 10, 1835, which might have meant somewhere in the
1800's??? for the birth date.

I think, Margaret was b. in Hanover just guessing tho.

Thanks

Pat

Hi Pat,
No George Schroeder in my line.

It seems all the men were named Johann, Heinrich, Christoph and William. And all the women were Dorothea, Elisabeth, Margaret and Katherine. It makes for interesting research.

Thank you, Mona ! It can be challenging ....what about the name of his
wife? Hamke ...I thought it was a misprint but, it is out there.

It seems unusual, but I have seen it before, too.
