Just because they do not know English does not mean you can not communicate. There are many excellent translation facilities on line and probably in your community. I use Google Translate for big articles and an addon for Firefox called www.Trans. While I some time puzzle to get the noun and verbs in the English order I do get the meaning of the messages.
Beside there is nothing wrong in learning a little of a foreign language
