Hello list friends,
Please see the photo at the following link. It is the headstone of my
ancestor, Meinard Laker, who came from the Loeningen area. I'm able to
read most of it, but I am unable to decipher the epitaph at the bottom
of the marker. It's really weathered, but I'm posting it here as a
"long shot" in hopes that it looks familiar to someone. The last word
of the first line appears to be "Lieber," but I'm pretty stumped after
