Which DNA would be the best to local relatives in Germany or in that are? My ancestry's came from what is now Poland and my mom side came from East Prussia.

My ancestry's worked in Gollatch and Grocholin area.I traced them back to 1800's.The frist one I found was Johann Manthey he married a Wilmine (?)
They had twelve kids only one lived to adult hood.He was my greatfather Johann Manthey he married Ernesstine Headtke.There was a Micheal Manthey also.He was related how I do not know.
