Bonita: Thanks again - this time it clicked. There is no longer anyone I can get a DNA sample from. Too bad.

Regarding the rolls - I've investigated them, but not at length. I wasn't aware of the "denied" portion, so I look into that again. Anyone know of any message boards out there like this one which pertain to American Indian heritage?

I believe the Oklahoma Archives has a database ... I know the originals are
in the Fort Worth, TX NARA. You can find indices in most good libraries and
then request a copy of the original from TX NARA.
