Dna.. a few questions

DNA

I wished I had seen that special dna program on television.
I need It to be presented to me easily.
If it is not really expensive I would like a go for it. I am wondering if the brothers would like to do it.
Would it be the same cost no matter if I have both brothers do it or just one?. My youngest brother most looked like his father in a picture I have seen of dad when he was young. Grandfthers brothers male children died that i can think of at the moment.
I would like to see if anything would show up in our history of family maternal side...........
My grandmother was illegitimate and never made public the name of her father. I am sure her mother must have told her at one point. Her mother died a rather young after bearing many children by her new husband in iowa. I think it was someone named August and he died by kidney infection and he died at About age fifty. However, August her mothers father in iowa reaised her and my grandmother could have entered the name August because August her grandfather raised her.August had left germany shortly after his daughter had been born. His daughter joined him in iowa and gave birth.
However there are two regions bleckede and Himbergen. I bet the tests would not show that area distinquishment.??

I suppose it would suggest much. Or not.
I have Two Meyer names for Radenbeck. I suppose it would be cheaper to just write to that church. so my brick wall. Not sure if it would give me any clues for more than that.
Only advantage would be grandmothers family.

Now my Heins came from Siddenhausen kries Celle and mingled with Dageforde family connections around there. Would it prove any connection to them?. Hohls,Meyerhof, von der Breling,Alms, arens, Stradtman, Kothe, Brase, Brammer,Von Hoersten, Koch, Winkelmann,Gralheer,Ties. Many wandered into South Africa. Many were missionaries around the planet earth.

The Schultz and Behrens of Neetzendorf may show some location of before. They were there early 1700's. Same for Luhman at Eichdorf.

Do all the componets of ones heritage show up?Doesn't one have to enter a family tree.?

Jo:

You only need ONE brother to do the test as they should have the same DNA
which was passed from their father.

The male DNA test: Y-chromosome follows the paternal father. So the son,
father, his father, and his father. It DOES NOT provide information for ANY
of the other people ... not the Mother of the child tested ... or any of the
other grandparents EXCEPT the paternal Grandfather, then paternal
Great-Grandfather.
