Hello,
I want to know where to access the church records for the Evangelical parish of Dittmansdorf for the period 1800-1850. My great great grandfather Ernst Heinrich FLIEGNER was born in Kynau, kr. Waldenburg in 1832, now Zagorze Slaskie in Poland (population 645 in 1939). I understand Kynau was in the parish of Dittmansdorf.
I have written to the pastor of the present day church but he says the records are not held there.
The LDS does not seem to hold the records either.
