In your subject line you show the name Meyer. I am looking for John Carl
Meyer b. 1838. Do you see him in your tree?

Hi Marlene;

I have an aunt by the name of Bertha Meyer. She was born December 07, 1881.
I don't know the name of the state only that it started with an "M". she
married
Gilford Rufus Lafayette Norton. We called him Gip. They were married in
Bemis, Tenn. on December 19, 1901.
she died in Knoxville, Tenn. on February 05, 1974. Do you think she might
be related to your Meyer family?

                                       talk soon,

                                         Doris

Hi;
I don't know if he could be an uncle or a father or cousin. I don't have
anything on her parents. She married into the family when she married Gip.
Is there any Bertha's on the census?
