Hallo,
I have been reviewing the past listings to this site and saw a reference to a genealogy book of family names for Westfalen.
This has made me wonder if the families from Brockhagen might be listed in this? Also is there any local history books regarding Brockhagen that might contain information on the families in the area? If so how would I be able to find out if the family names I am researching are in it? What years would it cover? My ancestors left in around 1840 but there are some listed in the town as late as 1880s and I would be interested on information regarding any of these.
Also is there a local history that would tell about the town and give me an idea of when it was founded, what events marked its history, what was the primary source of income for the people?
How could I get information from them if such books exist?
Once again thank you for your help
