Demski and Löwner in Danzig

Hello to all,

Have been tracking through Danziger address books from 1897 onwards to try and track down my Great Grandparents who were both from Danzig.
August Demski born in 1878 and Katharine L�wner born in 1881. Have found August in 1897 Danzig adress book, but I still dont know for sure if
they were both born in Danzig or just lived there. I know they didnt stay there long as none of there three children were born in Danzig. Where can I apply to find out birth details or marriage details of this couple, can someone help with suggestions.

I would recommend you look on familysearch.org for them. Assuming that
does not work, which it likely will not, then you ough to check Church
records near where they lived. I always look for marriage records
first, because it is closest in time to residence records and often also
provides parent names.

Look in churches that match your family's faith at the time. If they
might have been Jewish you should also look in Lutheran records as
Lutheran church records often listed Jews among the births etc.
