Can anyone tell me if there might have been a town named Dargent in
Mecklenburg in 1866--the year my grandmother was to have been born there? I
haven't been able to find her birth place. Her mother stated that
Grandmother Louise Helbig was born 6 Dec. 1866 in Dargent, Brandenburg. I
find that on US census she is listed as having been born in
Mechlenburg.......June in Minnesota USA
