Dannenburg, Uelzen and Wolzen

I will looking into the Molzen films.

So, you are saying that Uelzen was twice as big as Dannenberg in 1847? That
Uelzen would have been the bigger town? If so, than that means that this
person probably was born in Dannenberg like the marriage record states.

I'm looking for the following people in or near Molzen:

Frederick Johann Meyer married Maria Dormer/Dorman. Their children, all
born in Germany, that I have found so far are:

Elizabeth Sophia Meyer born 8 Dec 1833
Augustus Meyer born about 1841
Dora Meyer born 15 Sep 1845
Maria Meyer born 6 Feb 1855

I've also been told there was an illegitimate son of Maria Dormer/Dorman
named Charles Meder.

The above mentioned Dora's marriage certificate from New York states that
she was "unz" Dannenberg, Hanover. I've tried some of the Dannenberg films
without any success at all.

The above mentioned Elizabeth Sophia Meyer was the one that went back and
forth from America to Germany. She married Wilhelm August Frederick Hagen
(most likely in Germany) who was born 8 Apr/Sep 1831.

Their children were:

Frederick Wilhelm Hagen born in Albany on 8 Aug 1863
Elizabeth Lillie Hagen born in Germany on 29 Mar 1866
Mina Auguste Hagen and Emma Hagen (twins) born in New York 7 Jun 1870
Luise Anna Hagen born 4 Oct 1874 in New York
Maria Bertha Hagen born 12 Dec 1874 in New York

Elizabeth Lillie (they called her Lillie) would be the only birth of that
family in Germany.

So, that's all I know about anyone in my family who might have come from
Molzen.

if you meant the films about Molzen, the suggestion is yes you should take a
look into it.
Molzen is today almost a part of Uelzen. They have the same postcodenr.
29525. Since 1847 Uelzen was railway station between Hanover and Hamburg. It was
then, when the region around Dannneberg began to become a bit offsided. It
should have been also at that time already at least the double in size as
Dannenberg. What is the name of the person you are researching and which date
exactly are you looking for ?

P.S.: Dannenberg is still not directly at the river Elbe, but from Uelzen in
direction to. The small river in Dannenberg is called Jeetzel.
