dannenberg...Luneburg..hannover

My ancestors were in several villages by the Elbe. That is the
simplist way to say it. I can list them. Those of you in the know will
see that they cover different areas though it looks like it could be
all one area. It doesn't complicate by being brunswick or prussia,
Hannover kingdom time periods. Because I think they were all Hannover
   Kingdom. I could be wrong.

Just lately while looking into Oldendorf region with church of
Nahrendorf, I discovered that Schutschur was district Dannenberg. With
a new name Neu Darchau OT Schutschur

I knew that these Schulz, with Wolf,Luhmann, Harms, Ahrens, Pagel were
connected with villages of Ventschau and Schutschur. Some at
   Sueschendorf.

For some time I thought Eichdorf was by Neetzendorf, because church
records were from Dahlenburg church archives. And Mr Luhmann had sent
me a postcard and said that the top of the city was their home. He
lived at Quickborn. Which is area called Tosterglope. But the farm
was at Eichdorf a few miles to the east. I doubt that would show on
the two miles from Dahlenburg. [ see dahlenburg.de jonas website?
This Tosterglope may have had my Walmsburg,
   Venstscau,Nuedlitz. Dahlenburg church contained Neetzendorf,
Ahndorf, and Boitze,Lehstahl, Radenback. I quickly learned church
district is not the same as Politicall district. Then there is the
area of Bleckede, it contained my Barskamp, alt Garge, Garge,
   Kleinburg,Bargmoor,Niendorf?.

I have area Breese, Luben, Oldendorf,Nahrendorf, Suschendorf,
   Eichdorf,Bostelwiebeck,Sammatz,Buendorf,Roethen,Duebbekold,
Koestorf,Kohvahl. i missed a few surrounding villages not on records.
I am not sure what areas my villages belong. Some Bleckede some not. I
remember reading, when I started this hobby, that our ancestors stayed
in one village and didn't move around with other villagers that much.
If only it would have been that easy. I wonder when and where that was
   true?

Some villages have others attached to them.

I am not sure, but Dubbekold may be considered Dannenberg. I shall
have to check. When I was at Aida I did not run Dannenberg in as an
area for my ancestors. It surprised me when it said Roethen was
Dannenberg. I thought it was address Goehrde. Not sure how close
Luchow would be until I check map.

Four or five years back I remember reading a journal or diary of a
Meyer family who had members emigrate from Luchow/ Dannenberg. Maybe
something about Hitzacker. I wonder what luck i could have in finding
that on the internet these days.

am mentioning this just in case your Dannenberg anchestor is from any
   of those villages.

   >I have a question please.
   >
   >A while back I posted that I had discovered on a ship record that
   my family
   >came from Molzen. I have been waiting ever since for those films
   to arrive.
   >They finally arrived but so far I have only found the
   husband's birth
   >record. None of his wife's family, which is my direct line, are
   in these records.
   >Another ship record listed Uelzen, but I cannot find any films in
   the LDS
   >catalog for Uelzen. Someone emailed me and gave me the name and
   email address
   >of someone in Germany that had helped her with Uelzen records. I
   had
   >contacted him but he said he didn't have anything for Molzen. Now I
   would like to
   >ask him about Uelzen but I no longer have his information. I would
   really
   >appreciate having that information again.
   >
   >Also, does anyone have any suggestions for other towns to
   try? This couple
   >met and married in Germany so I know that the family has to be close
   to
   >Molzen somewhere. The marriage license of a sister says that
   they were from
   >Dannenberg. So somewhere around Dannenberg, Molzen and Uelzen.
   >
   >Thank you very much.
