When researching the Custer genealogy, look at the various spellings -
Koster, Custard, etc. I have Custers in my line who were Custards in PA but
changed to Custer when they moved West. There is a woman named Geri Brennan
(Google her) who is very knowledgeable about Custers of PA originating in
Monroe and Northampton counties.
