Cost of Court Records?

I need help ... I would like to obtain the probate records of my ancestor who lived, died in Wichtenbeck (part of Eimke), Kreis Uelzen (now) .. then Kingdom of Hannover. I was told that I should write to Uelzen for the court records. I know the date of death but I do not know his given name. I found the information about his wife when she remarried to a man named JOHANNES .. and it listed her children by her first husband, Mr. HILLMER. The wife's surname was GRAWELMANN .. and she had inherited a large farm in Wicktenbeck.

Can some one tell me:
1) where to write (address)
2) do I need a form filled out?
3) do I need exact name and/or date?
4) anything else that would be helpful.

Dear Mrs. Hillmer,

If the probate records have survived, they are stored at the Niedersaechsisches
Hauptstaatsarchiv in Hannover. E-mail address:
poststelle@staatsarchiv-h.niedersachsen.de
If they do not have them, there is almost no chance that they have come done to
us.
Please remember to send your complete name and address if you do want an answer
from any office in Germany.
