Hello,

I recently began researching my family tree, and my search has now brought me here. I am looking for any information on the Cordt Family, from Dössel. I have a Heronemus Ferdinand Cordt born circa 1836 in my tree, but cannot seem to get any further back.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Laura,
I have the data of D�ssel only until 1807. Thus, there is a gap between the
data below and yours.
The Cordt, Coort, Kort in D�ssel seem to stem from Calenberg. I am going to
check that soon.
This is what I have found :

    Joannes Jacobus * 21-04-1772 + 13-01-1773
    Joannes Ferdinand * 30-01-1779
    Antonius Ernestus * 30-04-1781 + 31-07-1783

Joannes Ferdinand Coort oo 09-01-1803 Wilmes, Agnes
    Joannes Bernard * 20-08-1806

I am pretty certain that the information I have on later descendants is
correct, but if anybody would like to see them all please feel free to

Hi Laura,

Meanwhile I checked the Calenberg records for the Cordts with a bit meager
result:
Cordt, Mauritius oo 12-01-1742 in Vinsebeck: Curs, Eva
Why this is recorded in the Calenberg record did not become clear to me. It
might be a tranquilized death record.
(Curs sounds a bit like Curt's or Coordt's, maybe there is a Coordt family
in Vinsebeck.)
Than I have:
Cordt, Mauritius oo Clara ? as parents of
Joes Theodorus Conradus * 29-05-1751, Calenberg
And:
Cordt, Joes Conradus oo Schimmel, Theodora
    Anna Maria * 14-01-1783, Calenberg
    Anna Margaretha * 05-03-1786, Calenberg
I guess Joes Theodorus Conradus and Joes Conradus are identical.
No further records, sorry.

Wie ich sehe, haben Sie die Moeglichkeit in die Calenberg Daten zu schauen. Ich habe schon lange versucht da etwas zu erfahren ueber meine Vorfahren mit Namen" WLOEME"(auch mit R und N am Ende). Es heisst ,das war ein Rats- und Beamtengeschlecht in Uslar , Wolmirstedt ,Vernawahlshausen und Calenberg.
Wenn ich da etwas von Ihnen erfahren koennte , waere ich Sie sehr dankbar.

Tut mir leid, keine Vermeldung - auch nicht in der Verbindung Wleu*,Vl�*
oder Fl*.
Handelt es sich auch wirklich um das Calenberg bei Warburg ?

Vielen dank fuer ihre Muehe !
Es muss aber absolut WLOEME sein, sei es vielleicht mit Umlaut. Es gibt aber auch die Moeglichkeit mit N am Ende.Und Vlome (n) gibt es auch.
Es handelt sich unbedingt um Calenberg bei Warburg wo einer meinen Vorfahren Buergemeister war.
Schade dass Sie keine Vermeldung finden.
Ich suche hauptsaechlich in Umgebung Minden ( speziel in Alswede) / Bremen und etwas nordlich / Rheinland und Uslar. Ein gewisser Herr Christoff WLOEME war viele Jahren Buergermeister von Uslar in etwa 1640. Herrn Dom-Voigt STEPHAN WLOEME lebte von 1659 bis 1711 in Magdeburg/Wolmirstedt.
Wenn Sie mal auf etwas miet Namen WLOEME stossen wurden moechte ich dass gerne erfahren
