I have trying (without success) to get the English copies of the daily reports.
Could someone please help me to do this.

Hi Joe,
Do you mean you want to get a daily listing of the mailing list entries - translated in to English? If so, I'm pretty sure you're out of luck. The entries are in whatever language the person originally wrote in. I think choosing English in the personal preferences only changes the language for the instructions - like how to subscribe or unsubscribe.
If this isn't what you mean, let me know.

An option is to cut and paste the text of interest into the left pane of
http://translate.google.com/#de/en/ and read the (rough) translation in the
right pane.
