Part of my wife's family, Niemeyer/Winters are said to come from Hannover. No one has a clue whether it was the Kingdom or City. Not only that, there seems to be no agreement as to Niemeyer or Niemeier. The rough date of about 1850 seems in agreement. Comments, anyone?
